Council Consideration of a Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Final Plat for the Devon Addition, to the City of Gillette, Wyoming, Subject to all Planning Requirements. |
BACKGROUND: |
The owners are seeking Final Plat approval for a three (3) lot subdivision for ownership purposes.
The proposed subdivision is 31.75 acres. It is located on the north side of the intersection of Butler Spaeth Road and Garner Lake Road. Lot 1 (12.11 acres) and Lot 3 (8.05 acres) have a zoning designation of I-1, Light Industrial. Lot 2 (11.58 acres) is zoned C-3, Business/Services District. Each lot meets the minimum requirement for public road frontage.
The property is vacant except for an operating oil well located on Lot 3. The proposed subdivision is surrounded by a mix of uses including industrial, residential and commercially zoned properties. The owners want to subdivide the property in anticipation of future development.
