LOF Gillette, LLC, is selling their retail liquor license to Sapporo Wyoming, Inc.; therefore, they are applying for a resort liquor license. According to the applicant, this type of license will be a better fit for the company, allowing them to set up portable bars for their banquet areas.
Recently, LOF Gillette, LLC, conducted extensive remodeling efforts within the motel. One of the changes is with regard to the location where Bootleggers was housed. Sapporo Japanese Steakhouse, who is in the process of purchasing and transferring the ownership of the retail liquor license currently held by LOF Gillette, LLC, will now house this location.
If the transfer of the retail liquor license is not approved, LOF Gillette, LLC, will need to renew their retail liquor license and withdraw their request for a resort liquor license. Wyoming Statute 12-4-103(b) does not allow an applicant to hold more than one liquor license.
The public hearing notice was published two consecutive weeks, Dec. 19 & Dec. 26. No protests have been received. All corrections, if applicable, have been made and the Wyoming Liquor Division has accepted the application.
