On December 16th the Council approved, by Ordinance, the annexation of the Southern Industrial Park. Knights of Columbus of Gillette 3477 Club, Inc., is located within the annexed area and holds a limited liquor license with the County.

The County and City have different liquor licensing periods. The County's licensing period begins February 7th and expires February 6th. The City's licensing period begins April 1st and expires March 31st. According to the Wyoming Liquor Division, the license will need to be renewed as a City limited liquor license, and the licensing expiration date extended to coincide with the City's liquor licensing expiration date in order to continue dispensing alcohol and/or malt beverages.
