| Council Consideration of a Street Closure for the Intersection of Gillette Avenue and 3rd Street on February 21st, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for the First Annual Ice Festival Requested by the Gillette Main Street Committee. |
| BACKGROUND: |

The Gillette Main Street Committee, along with the Mayor's Art Council, will be hosting the first annual Ice Festival. There will be many activities, including an ice sculpting competition with most of the activities taking place at the intersection of Gillette Avenue and 3rd Street.
The Police Department approved the application, but asks for Council approval to allow U-Turns on Gillette Avenue during the event.
All affected businesses have been notified and have signed the notification form.
