| Council Consideration of a Resolution to Establish a Procedure for the Issuance of Bar and Grill Liquor Licenses. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This Resolution has been prepared to establish a process for the issuance of the remaining Bar and Grill liquor License. This simplified process follows the same general path that was used in 2011 to issue the new Retail Liquor Licenses that the City received as a result of the 2010 census. The process is simplified since the Notice will only be advertised 3 times instead of 4 and the due date for City applications will be two months from the date of the Resolution. After the due date for applications, May 1, 2015, staff will review the submissions and schedule presentations from applicants at a Work Session. Following the Work Session, Council will vote at a Regular Meeting to pick the successful applicant who will then complete the State application and come back to a Regular Meeting for a hearing for the issuance of their license. |
