The PMS C 2014 (14EN10) Project, designed by Bruce Engineering, Inc., includes the removal and replacement of 1,700 SY AC pavement, 4,600 SF sidewalk and driveway, 1,020 LF curb and gutter, preparation of 1,800 CY of excavation below subgrade, installation of 3,750 LF 4" sub-drain, 1,600 LF 18" CPE and 410 LF 15" CPE storm drain pipe, installation of 5 manholes and 19 storm drain inlets.

Bids were opened at 2:00 P.M., Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, for the above-referenced project at the office of the City Purchasing Division, Central Warehouse, 800 N. Burma Avenue, Gillette, Wyoming.

Six (6) bids were received:

Intermountain Construction and Materials   $820,947.75
Simon Contractors   $906,789.40

The bids have been reviewed by Bruce Engineering Inc., and they have determined that Powder River Construction, Inc. is the lowest qualified bidder. The contract requires the work to be substantially complete in 90 working days and ready for final payment in 100 days.

Contract times shall commence no later than June 1st, 2015.

The Engineer's Estimate prepared by Bruce Engineering, Inc. for the PMS C 2014 Project was in the amount of $993,676.00. Funding for this project has been allocated from the 1% Optional Tax Account #201-10-05-419-40-44331.

I move for Approval of a Bid Award for the PMS C 2014 Project to Powder River Construction, Inc., in the Amount of $728,730.00 (1% Project).
