| Council Consideration of a Resolution to Authorize a Land Trade with Lang Homes, Inc. |
| BACKGROUND: |
A Resolution has been prepared to approve the land trade with Lang Homes, Inc. The City will trade two tracts of City owned land along Burma Road comprising 2.374 acres, for and in exchange for a 60 foot wide right of way for Beaver Drive from the current end of Beaver Drive in Sage Valley Subdivision Phase VI to Burma Road, approximately 1,600 lineal feet in length and 2.118 acres. The terms of the proposed land trade and the descriptions of the tracts to be exchanged and their appraised values were contained within the Notice Of Land Trade, which was published according to law in the Gillette News Record on May 12, 2015, May 19, 2015, and May 26, 2015.
A copy of the 2012 Beaver drive agreement with Lang Homes Inc., and drawings of the property to be traded are attached for review. |
