SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Services Associated with the 2014 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project with HDR Engineering, Inc., in the Amount of $360,373.00 (1% Project).
BACKGROUND:
This contract will consist of project oversight and inspection services for the 2014 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project.  This project consists of installing approximately 9,000 LF of sanitary sewer main replacement, approximately 2,700 LF of storm drain installation, and approximately 1,800 LF of water main replacement in Green Street from 5th Street to 9th Street, in alley between Highway 59 and Miller Avenue from 5th Street to 7th Street, in alley between Brooks Avenue and Miller Avenue from 6th Street to 7th Street, in alley between 5th Street and 6th Street from Green Avenue to Gurley Avenue, in alley between 6th Street and 7th Street from Highway 59 to Gurley Avenue, in alley between 7th Street and 8th Street from Highway 59 to Gurley Avenue, in alley between 8th Street and 9th Street from Highway 59 to Gurley Avenue, in 12th Street from Highway 59 to Gurley Avenue, and in Overland Trail cul-de-sac to Monte Vista Lane.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:
The cost for this construction management professional service contract is $360,373.00 which is 9.2% of the construction cost of $3,925,882.44.  The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund #201-10-05-419-70-47420 which has $5,500,000.00 budgeted for this project.

I move for the Approval of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Services Associated with the 2014 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project with HDR Engineering, Inc. in the Amount of $360,373.00 (1% Project).
