The Project includes work on Boxelder Road from Energy Court to just beyond the east Home Depot entrance and all of Energy Court.  The Project will include replacement and repair of approximately 200 lineal feet of sanitary sewer, the replacement of the metallic fittings on the water main, replacement of 5,500 square feet of sidewalk, and the addition of 4,250 square feet of sidewalk.  The Project will include miscellaneous asphalt patching and a 2½ inch overlay of the entire surface.

Energy Court work will include miscellaneous concrete replacement, asphalt patching, and a full 2½ inch overlay.  

The project is allowed 115 days to substantial completion and 10 additional days for final completion.  The contractor is required to complete the work on Boxelder prior to  the work on Energy Court. 

The allowable construction hours have been extended slightly and will run from 6 AM to 6 PM.

The contractor is required to maintain two way traffic on Boxelder throughout construction and to maintain access to the Peabody access road and to Cliff Davis Drive throughout the project. 

Simon Contractors was awarded the project for a cost of $1,160,789.70 (Eng. Est. $1.24M).

The proposed construction administration cost is $195,223.00.  This equates to 16.8% of the construction cost or approximately $1,561.78 per day.  The construction administration price includes $7,800.00 for surveying and $26,400.00 for materials testing. 

I move for Approval of a Professional Services Agreement for the Construction Management Services Associated with the PMS 2015 Schedule A Project, with Morrison - Maierle, Inc., in the Amount of $195,223.00 (1% Project).
