| BACKGROUND: |

The Downtown Public Facilities Enhancement Project will design and construct a public restroom, to be located in the parking lot on the South-side of the 3rd Street Downtown Plaza. Necessary infrastructure will include installation of water & sewer lines. In addition, the existing City owned parking lot will be rehabilitated and restored.

| I move for the Approval of a Resolution Authorizing Submission of an Application to the Business Ready Community Grant And Loan Program for a Community Enhancement Grant Project on Behalf of the Governing Body for the City of Gillette for the Downtown Public Facilities Enhancement Project for a Grant amount not to exceed $500,000. |
