The Pavement Management System 2015 Schedule B Project (15EN02) includes pavement rehabilitation for a portion of 7th Street (1140 LF) between Gillette Avenue and 4-J Road, a portion of Echeta Road (1950 LF) west of Highway 14/16, minor asphalt patching on 6th Street between Gillette Avenue and Highway 59, and concrete joint/crack sealing on Slate Street, Sinclair Street, Shoshone Avenue, Butler Spaeth Road, and Burma Avenue. Rehabilitation on 7th Street includes a section of asphalt patching w/overlay and a section of new concrete pavement.  Echeta Road includes concrete pavement replacement and grinding/texturing.

Bids were opened on April 7, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the office of the City Purchasing Division, Central Warehouse, 800 N. Burma Avenue, Gillette, Wyoming.

Four (4) bids were received:
S&S Builders, LLC $1,013,228.00
Powder River Construction, Inc. $1,168,053.00
Simon Contractors $1,389,277.50
Mountain View Building, Inc. $1,494,725.00

The bids have been reviewed by PCA Engineering, Inc. and they have determined that S&S Builders, LLC is the lowest qualified bidder. The contract requires the work to be substantially complete in 70 working days and ready for final payment within 80 working days.

The Engineer's Estimate prepared by PCA Engineering, Inc. for the Pavement Management System 2015 Schedule B was in the amount of $1,294,665.72. The funding for this project has been allocated from the 1% Optional Tax Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331.

I move for Approval of a Bid Award for the Pavement Management System 2015 Schedule B Project to S&S Builders, LLC, in the Amount of $1,013,228.00 (1% Project).
