This project includes pavement rehabilitation for a portion of 7th Street (1140 LF) between Gillette Avenue and 4-J Road, a portion of Echeta Road (1950 LF) west of Highway 14/16, minor asphalt patching on 6th Street between Gillette Avenue and Highway 59, and concrete crack sealing on Slate Street, Sinclair Street, Shoshone Avenue, Butler Spaeth Road, and Burma Avenue.  Rehabilitation on 7th Street includes a section of asphalt patching w/overlay and a section of new concrete pavement.  Echeta Road includes concrete pavement replacement and grinding/texturing.

Construction Management services for the 80-working day project will include pre-construction meeting with the City of Gillette and S&S Builders, LLC, review of drawings, schedules, submittals, and Resident Project Representative (RPR) for inspection services, materials testing, survey, construction staking, progress meetings during construction, construction reports, monthly and final contractor pay requests, full time project inspection, project engineer's services and Drawings of Construction Record.

The cost breakdown for the Construction Management is as follows:

The proposed fee equates to $1,564 per day of construction or 12.5% of the construction bid amount.

The bid for the project is being awarded to S&S Builders, LLC on April 21, 2015 in the amount of $1,013,228.00.

The funding for this project has been allocated from the 1% Optional Tax Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331.
