Public works services provided by the City of Gillette are an integral part of our citizens' everyday lives. The health, safety and comfort of this City depends on public works facilities and services. The support and understanding of informed citizenry, their attitude and understanding of the importance of the work the qualified and dedicated public works employees perform, is vital to the efficient operation of public works systems.

Now, therefore, I, Louise Carter-King, Mayor of the City of Gillette, do hereby proclaim the week of May 17-23, 2015, as Public Works Week in the City of Gillette, Wyoming.
