| BACKGROUND: |
NOW THEREFORE, I, Louise Carter-King, Mayor of the City of Gillette, County of Campbell, and State of Wyoming do hereby proclaim May 7, 2015 as NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, with this year’s theme as Hear Our Cry, "Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day," 1 Kings 8:28.
In observance of the 64th National Day of Prayer, I encourage our fellow citizens to join in prayer, asking that God's light may illuminate the minds and hearts of our people and our leaders, so that we may meet the challenges that lie before us with courage, wisdom and justice. |
