Darla Cotton is requesting a parade permit for the 4th of July Parade. This year's route is different from years past. The parade will line up on the south side of 1st Street, facing east. The parade will begin at 2nd Street and Osborne Avenue, traveling west to 2nd Street and Burma Avenue where the parade participants will disperse.

Set up for the parade will need to begin at approximately 6:00 or 7:00 a.m.

At the time the application was submitted for Council's consideration, Ms. Cotton had not spoken with the State regarding the new route for the parade. Ms. Cotton confirmed that she would speak with the State regarding the new route, obtaining their approval prior to the May 19th Council Meeting.
