SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Final Plat for the Resubdivision of Lot 6A, Block 1, Homestead Addition, to the City of Gillette, Wyoming, Subject to all Planning Requirements.
BACKGROUND:

The applicant is requesting approval of a Final Plat that subdivides an existing platted lot into four lots for commercial development. The 5.48 acre property is located south of Boxelder Road at the intersection of an unnamed private road that is approximately 800 feet west of Douglas Highway. The most northern lot, Lot 6C, is .48 acres and is proposed to be right-of-way for the realignment of Boxelder Road. Lot 6D is 1.32 acres and is accessed directly from Boxelder Road. Lot 6E is 1.85 acres and is accessed from the private road to the east. Lot 6F is 1.83 acres and accessed from the private road as well.

The Development Plan for the site indicates that the parking and internal circulation will be shared by all lots, which provides more than one access point for all lots. There are public improvements associated with this development and a Permit to Construct will be required.
