| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Associated with the Westover Road Improvements Project with PCA Engineering, Inc., in the Amount of $165,625.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
The Westover Road Improvements Project includes widening the existing Westover Road to a three (3) lane section between Burma Avenue and Skyline Drive (Wyoming State Highway 50). The project also includes improvements to the storm drainage system, electrical system, and drainage pan on the west side of Skyline Drive.
This agreement provides for the Construction Management Services of the 90 day project. The agreement includes general construction management duties, full-time on-site inspection, material testing and surveying.
Powder River Construction, Inc. was awarded the Construction Contract on May 19, 2015 in the amount of $1,311,564.50. The Engineer's Estimate for the project was in the amount of $1,621,199.81.
The proposed CM Fee equates to 12.6% of the Construction Contract Amount or approximately $1,840 per day.

The funds for this project are budgeted in the 1% Optional Tax Account #201-10-05-419-70-47401, for Street Enhancements.
