| BACKGROUND: |
Ordinance First Reading 7/0 (Councilman Rothleutner abstained from all matters pertaining to personnel)
Ordinance Second Reading 5/0 (Councilmen McGrath and Barks absent; Councilman Rothleutner abstained from all matters pertaining to personnel)
Total Fiscal Year 2015-2016 budgeted expenses: $173,346,202 (which includes $43,612,325 for the Madison Waterline Project)
The attached budget has been reviewed in public workshops by the Mayor and City Council during the month of May. This recommended budget includes all changes as discussed at those meetings.
A Public Hearing has been advertised for 7:00 p.m. on June 16, 2015 at City Hall for consideration of the Fiscal Year 2015-2016 Budget. The public hearing and the approval of the third reading of the budget ordinance are scheduled for the regular City Council Meeting.
The FY2015-2016 budget will be approved through three readings. |

I move for the approval of the ordinance adopting the FY2015-2016 budget for the City of Gillette.
