| Council Consideration of a Resolution Declaring the Bleachers, Spectator Seating and Playing Fields at Dalbey Park and the Energy Capital Sports Complex “Smoke Free”. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The City of Gillette’s Parks and Beautification Board and the Campbell County Prevention Council have recommended the City Council approve and adopt a formal resolution declaring the bleachers, spectator seating and playing fields at Dalbey Park and the Energy Capital Sports Complex to be “Smoke Free” for purposes of all cigarette, pipe, cigar, and electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) smoking. This Resolution would be enforced by posting appropriate signs, but would not allow police officers to issue actual tickets for violations. |
