Raymond Street is located in the recently annexed Southern Drive Industrial Park. The Raymond Street Improvements Project (15EN42) includes the reconstruction of the dirt/gravel surfaced Raymond Street.  The project generally consists of installing 10" of aggregate base over 18" of paved road subgrade processing for a length of approximately 1300 lineal feet.  The drainage will be improved by removal of existing culverts and the addition of 340 lineal feet of Arch RCP Culverts with flared end sections.  Other road items include ditch grading, installation of geogrid and separation fabric, removal of miscellaneous concrete and asphalt driveways as well as miscellaneous concrete installation and asphalt patching.

The proposed project will have a start date of no later than August 31, 2015.  The contract time allotted for the project includes 40 working days to Final Completion.

KLJ will provide general construction administration, full time construction inspection, surveying, materials testing and record drawings for the project. The proposed Construction Management Fee is approximately 16% of the bid price of the project or $1,250 per day of total contract time.

The Contract price for Construction Management Services for the Raymond Street Improvements Project is $50,000.00. The fees are broke down as follows:

Construction Phase Services - $36,200
Materials Testing - $4,000
Post Construction Services - $9,800

Funds for this project are included in the Optional 1% Sales Tax Account 204-10-05-419-40-44331.
