| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for the City of Gillette Boiler Upgrade Project to Air-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., in the Amount of $171,448.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
The City of Gillette Boiler Upgrade Package, as well as an additive alternate for a Domestic Hot Water Heat Exchanger was advertised for bid. The bids were opened on April 17, 2015, with the following results:

Air-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. Staff recommends accepting the base bid of Air-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., plus additive Alternate #1, as follows:

$171,448 Total

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

$112,063 was approved in the FY16 budget for this Project, with an additional carryover from FY15 of $84,438, for a total budget of $196,501. The Air-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. bid is $25,053 under budget.
