| BACKGROUND: |
|
The 3rd Street Plaza Project will consist of the full reconstruction of 3rd Street from South Gillette Avenue to Kendrick Avenue. The reconstruction will provide a convertible street/plaza area to host special events and will enhance the public use of the downtown district.
The reconstruction will include widened sidewalk areas, enhanced landscape/streetscape features, catenary street lighting, special sidewalk lighting, and continuations of the Gillette Avenue design theme.
The project time included 55 working days to Final Completion.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

Powder River Construction has been awarded the project with a reduced scope of work in the amount of $909,786.90.
The proposed construction administration cost is $97,800.00. This equates to 10.7% of the construction cost, or approximately $1,778 per day. These fees include nonstandard services such as special electrical and structural review in the amount of $3,350 and landscaping inspections in the amount of $6,160. The estimate also includes $6,500 for materials testing and $5,280 for surveying.
