| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for Two (2) New Ford AWD Utility Police Interceptor SUV's to Thunder Basin Ford of Gillette, Wyoming, in the Amount of $55,853.78. |
| BACKGROUND: |

The purchase of these two Interceptor SUVs was approved in the budget. They will replace the Police Department's K-9 units PD31 and PD37. Thunder Basin Ford provided the low bid. See the bid tabulation on the attached Memorandum.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
|
The budget for these units is $84,000. The actual cost of $55,853.78 is $28,146.22 under budget. The remaining funds will be used to upfit the vehicles with appropriate lighting, City of Gillette signage, cages for the police K-9s, etc.
