| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for Two (2) New Ford 1/2 Ton 4WD Extended Cab Pickups to Thunder Basin Ford of Gillette, Wyoming, in the Amount of $50,822.66. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
The purchase of these two 1/2 Ton 4WD Extended Cab Pickups was approved in the budget. They will replace the Engineering Division's Unit 14 (a 2002 pickup) and the Warehouse's Unit 83 (a 1998 pickup). Thunder Basin Ford provided the low bid. See the bid tabulation on the attached memorandum.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

The budget for these units is $57,500. The actual cost of $50,822.66 is $6,677.34 under budget. The remaining funds will be used to upfit the vehicles with appropriate lighting, City of Gillette signage, etc.
