| Appointment of Charlene Busk, Mary Kelley, Kimberly Roesser and Robert Henning to the Gillette Historic Preservation Commission. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Historic Preservation Ordinance of the City of Gillette, Wyoming is scheduled for its third and final reading at the Council meeting on 9/15/2015. That ordinance will create the Gillette Historic Preservation Commission and will also approve its Bylaws. As part of the establishment of the Commission, it is recommended that the City appoint Charlene Busk, Mary Kelley, Kimberly Roesser and Robert Henning to the Commission to act for it according to the Bylaws. Their Member Profiles are attached which show their specific qualifications to serve on this Commission. Members shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval by a majority of the City Council. Members of the Commission serve three year terms, but the initial Board members will have staggered terms so that the entire Board does not turn over at the same time. It is recommended that 1 member be appointed for a term of one year, 1 member for a term of 2 years and 2 members for a term of 3 years. |

I move for the Appointment of Charlene Busk and Kimberly Roesser for the 2 three year terms and Mary Kelley for the two year term and Robert Henning to the one year term for the Gillette Historic Preservation Commission.
