The City of Gillette currently has a three year contractual agreement with the accounting firm of Shuck, Bennett and Weber to perform the State mandated annual audit.  The upcoming audit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2015, represents the third and final year of the current agreement.  The Firm, now known as Bennett, Weber & Hermstad, LLP, has offered a proposal to extend the term of the agreement for an additional three years, through June 30, 2018, at an annual cost not to exceed $80,000.  As per the current agreement, the not to exceed cost of the June 30, 2015 audit is $78,000.

I move for acceptance of the proposal as submitted by Bennett, Weber & Hermstad, LLP, to provide audit services to the City of Gillette for fiscal years ending June 30, 2016, 2017, and 2018, at an annual cost not to exceed $80,000.
