The Council has heard presentations from 4 applicants who would like to receive a retail liquor license. Tonight a decision should be made to direct one of the applicants to proceed with the application process to receive the unissued retail license. The authorized applicant will still have to follow State Statutes to apply for the license and the final decision to award the license will be made following a public hearing advertised according to law. The Council may impose specific conditions on the license as well.
