| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for Two (2) New Chevy City Express Cargo Vans to White's Frontier Motors of Gillette, Wyoming, in the Amount of $48,332.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
These vans are replacements units for Animal Control units PD17 and PD18. The latter was up for regular replacement and approved in the budget. PD17 was struck by another vehicle and totaled. WARM will provide the replacement cost for that unit. White's Frontier Motors provided the low bid. See the bid tabulation on the attached Memorandum.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
|
The budget to replace PD18 is $46,500. The actual cost of $24,166 is $22,334 under budget. The remaining funds will be used to upfit the vehicle with appropriate lighting, City of Gillette signage, cages for the animals, etc. The same equipment will be purchased for PD17 out of the legal settlement account.
