The Wyoming Liquor Division conducted a compliance check on August 20, 2015. During their check, it was discovered that the Gillette Golf & Country Club's dispensing room did not meet statute "room" requirements. The Golf Club was instructed to resolve the issue by either erecting a floor to ceiling partition to enclose the dispensing room, or to include the whole area as part of the dispensing room description. The Golf Club chose to include the whole area as part of the described dispensing room instead of erecting a partition. Since the dispensing room is an oddly shaped room, the WLD suggested using square footage in the description.

According to W.S. 12-5-201(a) the change in the dispensing room description needs to be approved by the Licensing Authority. 

The WLD has been notified regarding this matter.

I Move for the Approval to Change the Dispensing Room Description from a 20' X 40' Room in the Southeast Corner of the Building to a 940 Square Foot Room in Southeast Corner of the Building, Requested by Gillette Country Club, Located at 1800 Country Club Road.
