| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the School Zone Crossings Phase I Project, Installed by Powder River Construction, Inc., in the Amount of $236,117.79 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
This project included the installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons at 15 locations throughout the City and the installation of sidewalk along the east side of Gurley Avenue from Kluver Road to the Lakeview School Area.
The project is a WYDOT Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Grant project which was matched with 1% Sales Tax Funds (80% Grant - 20% Match). The project was awarded at $250,538.75 and was completed on time with a $14,420.96 savings.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

The 20% Match for this Grant was allocated from the Traffic Signals 1% Optional Tax Account. The Total Cost for the Construction is $236,117.79 with $188,894.23 being funded by the WYDOT Grant. The Final 1% funds used for the project are in the amount of $47,223.56.
