| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the Alley 2016 Pavement Management System, with Bruce Engineering, Inc., in the amount of $35,983.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
The professional services agreement for the Alley 2016 Pavement Management System (16EN13) will include preliminary design, final design, and bidding phase services for the project.
Engineering services under the Agreement are generally identified as follows: Professional engineering and surveying including existing condition research, conceptual design and report, preliminary design plans, final contract documents and bidding services for a portion of the alley running from 5th Street to 6th Street between Gillette Avenue and Kendrick Avenue (approximately 200 LF) including removing and replacing several sewer service Fernco wyes if needed, West 5th Street running east from Warren Avenue to the end of the alley (approximately 200 LF), the alley running from West 5th Street to 4th Street between Gillette Avenue and Warren Avenue (approximately 320 LF) including repairing the sanitary manhole invert and small length of sewer if needed, and the alley running from 3rd Street to 4th Street between 4J Road and Rockpile Boulevard (approximately 340 LF) including removing and replacing the existing 8" sanitary sewer line. |

The funding for the design of this project has been allocated from the 1% Optional Tax Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331, not to exceed $35,983.00.
