| BACKGROUND: |
Ordinance First Reading: 6/0 (Councilman Carsrud absent)
Ordinance Second Reading: 6/0 (Councilman Rothleutner resigned)
This ordinance adopts the 2015 editions of the International Building Code, the International Residential Code, the International Plumbing Code, the International Mechanical Code, the International Fuel Gas Code, the International Fire Code, the International Existing Building Code. In addition it adjusts the various exceptions that have been approved in the past to each of those codes to take into account new language and the renumbering of existing sections. This ordinance also repeals Section 5-I-11 Adoption of Construction Design Requirements For New Healthcare Facilities and Healthcare Facility Alterations and Additions. These reviews and inspections are now done exclusively by the State of Wyoming and the City no longer has any inspectors who are certified in this area. |

I move for the Approval of the Ordinance to Amend the Gillette City Code, to Adopt and Amend the 2015 Editions of the International Building Code, the International Residential Code, the International Plumbing Code, the International Mechanical Code, the International Fuel Gas Code, the International Fire Code, the International Existing Building Code and Repeal Section 5-I-11 Adoption of Construction Design Requirements For New Healthcare Facilities and Healthcare Facility Alterations and Additions on Third and Final Reading.
