The City Hall 1^st Floor Remodel Project is complete!

With the completion of the remodel of Council Chambers, the remodel of City Hall first floor is complete. This was a year-long project that impacted virtually every inch of available space on the first floor.

The initial phase of the project was a remodel of the Police Department, followed by the remodel of Human Resources, Customer Service, City Clerk and the City Hall entrance. Finally, the Municipal Court area and Council Chambers were remodeled. During the course of this remodel, every staff member on 1^st floor was relocated at one time or another. Many thanks to all of the City staff and citizens who endured the dust, noise, and disarray that accompanies every construction project.

The end result of the project is a beautiful, modern first floor that we can all be extremely proud of. This accomplishment would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of three people:

And, the City of Gillette’s Facilities Maintenance Manager, Darin Morgan.
