| Council Consideration of a Water Service Agreement with the Stroup Trailer Court. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Stroup Trailer Court has executed a Water Service Agreement (WSA) to take continuous service from the Regional system for 60 lots. It is one of the original Districts. The City Council approved the form of the Water Service Agreement for Improvement and Service Districts and other water systems within the Designated Service Area around Gillette at the October 7, 2014 Council meeting. After the approval of the WSA and the Wholesale Water rates, staff contacted the rural districts identified in the JPA to secure their approval of the WSA for their district and the water rates approved by the Council and the Regional Water Panel. Since WSAs have been approved by the Districts, staff will be able to complete work with the State of Wyoming and secure approval of and final funding for the construction projects necessary to connect those rural districts to the Gillette Regional Water Supply System. |
