| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Advocacy for Visual Arts Community Art Center (AVA) Roof Replacement Project Completed by Hladky Construction, Inc., of Gillette, Wyoming, in the Amount of $255,716.62. |
| BACKGROUND: |
|
This project was awarded by Council to Hladky Construction, Inc. on July 7, 2015. The project, which included replacement of the roof and steel deck of the main building and replacement of the membrane roof on the art and storage area, has been completed, inspected, and all final documentation has been received.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
|
The original budget for this project was $250,000. A bid award of $254,619 was approved by Council on July 7, 2015. One Change Order was required for completion of the project in the amount of $1,097.62, for a final total project cost of $255,716.62. Although the project exceeds the budget amount, at the Council Meeting on July 7, 2015, City Administrator Napier recommended to proceed with the project and recoup the difference in other bids throughout the year, or potentially amend the budget accordingly.
