The Westover Road Improvement Project widened Westover Road to 3 lanes between Burma Avenue and Skyline Drive (Wyoming State Highway 50). The project also included storm drainage improvements, street lighting, and adjustment of the grade on the west leg of the Skyline/Westover intersection for improved ride quality. 

Powder River Construction, Inc. was awarded the contract and commenced work on June 30, 2015. The work reached Final Completion on December 11, 2015, which was within the contract time allotted for the project.  

The Original Contract Price was in the amount of $1,311,564.50.  There were five (5) change orders on the project resulting in a net increase to the contract of $2,415.35. The change orders included work associated with a waterline/storm drain conflict, adjustments to the storm drain size and inlets, installation of an additional water service, addition of temporary access road during construction, and final quantity adjustments. The Final Contract Price was in the amount of $1,313,979.85. The final cost was below the Engineer's Estimate ($1,621,199.81) and the construction budget for the project of $1.73M.

This project was funded out of the Optional Tax Account #201-10-05-419-70-47401 for Street Enhancements.
