A draft Memorandum of Understanding was approved at the September 1, 2015 Council meeting to establish a fund for the construction of a new visitor's center within the city limits. The County objected to the restriction on location and after discussions with Gillette and the Town of Wright, prepared a new simplified agreement that establishes a fund comprised of 10% of the Lodging Tax that is received within Campbell County for the construction of a visitor's center. This revised agreement does not include any details about the actual construction but leaves those issues to the future.
