| BACKGROUND: |
|
The Boxelder Road Extension Project from Overdale Drive to Highway 50 is an Urban Systems Project that WYDOT is managing. The utilities associated with this project are the installation of a 12" water main the entire length of the project and the installation of an 8" sanitary sewer main in the westerly portion of the roadway. These utility improvements are incorporated into the roadway project and will be installed by the contractor doing the work for WYDOT.
Per the Agreement with WYDOT the City is responsible to provide construction management, inspection, and material testing for the improvements associated with the water and sanitary sewer systems. This contract with DOWL Engineering will provide for these services.

| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |

The fees are in the amount of $60,095.00. The services provided will be overall construction management, full time inspection, material testing, and providing record drawings for the water and sanitary sewer system improvements.
The Urban Systems Program is funding 90.5 % of the roadway improvements, however the program does not fund extensions of new utilities. All the costs for the City's water and sanitary sewer improvements will be paid by the City and are funded in the 1% Account for Streets and Major Road Extensions Account 201-10-05-419-70-47402. The total amount budgeted for this project is in the amount of $2,064,000.
