This project consists of installing approximately 3800 LF of water main within Rose Creek Drive from Foxhills Avenue to Rodeo Street, Cabin Drive from Rose Creek Drive to Harder Drive, Cabin Court, and Morningside Drive from Prairieview Drive to Circle Drive.

The City of Gillette, Purchasing Division, opened bids for this project at the City Warehouse on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at 2:30 P.M..

CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATE:

The total construction cost for this project was estimated at $2,200,030.00 and was prepared by Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson.  The low bid from Powder River Construction, Inc., was $1,877,786.35, approximately 14.6% lower than the Engineer's Estimate.

BUDGET:

Monies for this project have been budgeted from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund 201-10-05-419-70-47410 in the amount of $3,000,000.00.

CONTRACTOR'S REVIEW:

Powder River Construction, Inc., has no apparent problem with their bid.
