This project consists of reconstruction of North Osborne Avenue, mill and overlay of Lincoln and Laramie Streets, patch repairs on Brooks Avenue, cement treated base and overlay of EZ Street, and replacement of existing water valves and fitting, hydrant replacements, and selected storm drain repairs.

Bid Opening

Two bids were received, opened, and read aloud by the City of Gillette Purchasing Division at 2:00 PM on March 22, 2016.  The bid results were as follows:

No irregularities were discovered in the review of the bids.

The contractor has 70 working days to achieve substantial completion with an additional 10 working days to achieve final completion.

Simon Contractors submitted the lowest bid.  Their bid was 7% lower than the Engineer's Estimate and 18% lower than the high bid.

The funding for this project has been allocated from the 1% Optional Tax Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331.
