| BACKGROUND: |
|
This project consists of street reconstruction of North Osborne Avenue, mill and overlay of Lincoln and Laramie Streets, patch repairs on Brooks Avenue, cement treated base and asphalt overlay on EZ Street, and patch repairs on Wyoming Avenue. This project also contains underground utility repairs including the replacement of water valves, fittings, and hydrants as well as storm water inlet replacements.
The project is allowed 80 working days to achieve final completion.

Simon Contractors is the apparent low bidder of the project at $958,362.85 (Engineer's Estimate $1.09M).
The proposed construction administration cost is $120,839.00 which equates to 12.6% of the construction cost or approximately $1510 per day. These fees include surveying and construction materials testing.
