Gillette Main Street Committee is requesting a street closure permit and an open container permit for their Community Street Dance that will include live music. This event is scheduled for August 27th from 5:00 p.m. to midnight.
Entry/egress points will be at both 2nd Street and 1st Street. The stage will be located in the intersection of 1st Street and Gillette Avenue. Wrist bands will be utilized as proof of paying the entrance fee and security will be provided to ensure only those 21 years of age and older are consuming alcohol/malt beverages at the event. Dispensing of alcohol/malt beverages will only occur in the four (4) licensed establishments (Big Lost Meadery, Chophouse, Center Bar & Montgomery Bar), and each establishment will identify those old enough to consume alcohol/malt beverages with a second band.
Music will be provided by Brock Finn and the Hellbounders and the Lazy L Band.
