SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Resolution Approving and Authorizing the Final Plat for Campbell County Health Subdivision, to the City of Gillette, Wyoming, Subject to all Planning Requirements.
BACKGROUND:
Campbell County Health (the applicant) is combining several lots in order to create one large lot for the hospital.

At the request of the applicant, the Wyoming Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Institute (WORI) Condominium Plat was recently vacated.  With the exception of the Crazy Woman Campground and the Camelanes Bowling Alley, Campbell County Health (the hospital) now owns all of the lots within the block bounded by Second St (on the north), Stocktrail Ave (on the east), Sixth St (on the south) and Burma Ave (on the west).

The hospital desires consolidating several of these lots into a single lot.  As part of this subdivision platting process, all existing easements were also verified and corrected.

Most of the lots being combined already have buildings on them, which are being used for medical purposes. This is an appropriate use in the C-O, Office and Institution District. Since multiple buildings are already located on this lot, any additional buildings will require the approval of a Development Plan. As the proposed, combined lot is rather large (22.01 acres), it has access from Burma Ave, 6th Street and Stocktrail Ave. All buildings are currently served by all City utilities.
