SUBJECT: |
Council Consideration of a Resolution to Transfer Two (2) Inoperable Brush Trucks to the Crook County Volunteer Firefighters Association, Crook County, Wyoming. |
BACKGROUND: |
The Fleet Manager seeks to dispose of two (2) inoperable Brush Trucks to the Crook County Volunteer Firefighters Association. The first vehicle is a 1979 Ford F-600 with a failed engine. It is valued at approximately $450.00 in its present condition. The second is a 1975 Ford F-600 Brush Truck which has previously been scrapped and parted out. Its value is $100.00. In this instance, due to the value of each vehicle being less than $500.00, notice was not required to be published in the newspaper prior to sale. However, the transfer to the Firefighters Association still requires a public hearing and a formal resolution to authorize the disposal of the vehicles by the Fleet Manager.
