| Council Consideration to Authorize the Mayor to Sign an Agreement Between Campbell County Health (Hospital) and the City of Gillette to Provide Telecommunication Services for an Additional Fiber Connection Between Campbell County Health (Hospital) and The Legacy Living & Rehabilitation Center. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Campbell County Information Technology Department has requested to lease an additional dark fiber pair between Campbell County Health (Hospital) and The Legacy Living & Rehabilitation Center. The City of Gillette customarily offers the lease of dark fibers in its fiber network to governmental agencies at a reduced rate for the benefit of the community. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| Campbell County Health (Hospital) will pay the City of Gillette a one time installation fee for two strands of fiber between Campbell County Health (Hospital) and The Legacy Living & Rehabilitation Center at a cost of $700.00 ($350.00 per fiber). In addition, Campbell County Health (Hospital) will pay the City of Gillette a monthly service fee of $300.00 ($150.00 per fiber). |
