The PMS 2016 Schedule C project (16EN12) consisted of the rehabilitation of the pavement sections of East 4th Street from South Gillette Avenue to Emerson Avenue, and West 4th Street from 4-J Road to Richards Avenue. This project also included removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalk, valley gutter, miscellaneous concrete, as well as the installation of a new under drain.

The original construction time was 50 working days to substantial completion, and 60 working days to final completion.  There were two days added to the contract for additional work, and five days added to the contract for weather delays. S & S Builders, LLC completed the project within the allotted time.

The original contract price was in the amount of $639,636.00.

There were a total of three (3) change orders resulting in a net decrease of $11,352.50 to the contract.

Change order #1- removed the installation of electrical conduit for future use at the request of the City of Gillette Electrical Department.  This was a net decrease of $3,692.00.

Change order #2- Added four weather days to the project and an additional two days for the installation of an edge drain and related drainage items. Other items included lowering a storm sewer manhole, adding 4" sidewalk chases and the removal of three (3) tree stumps.  The total of the additional work was $18,319.12 and was paid for out of the force account.

Change order #3- Added one weather day to the project, additional hydromulching areas, extra costs of using concrete instead of asphalt on a transition patch as well as the reduction of $7,660.60 for final quantity adjustments.
