The Downtown Facility Enhancement Project (16EN20) was divided into two parts, the Prefabricated Restroom Structure and the Site Development portions and bid separately. The separate bidding was to accommodate the long lead time for the manufacture and delivery of the structure. The structure is a prefabricated reinforced concrete with men's and women's sides with three stalls and two sinks on each side.  The insulated and heated structure was delivered to the site fully plumbed, wired, painted, and ready for use once the on-site utilities are connected. The structure was manufactured by CXT Concrete Buildings and provided to the City through Hladky Construction.

The site preparation was bid under a separate contract to facilitate the construction of the site while the restroom structure was being fabricated.  We anticipate acceptance of the Site Development portion of the overall project at the November 15, 2016, Council Meeting.

The project was delivered for the awarded amount of $194,274.00

There were no change orders and the structure was delivered and set at the site within the number of days allowed in the contract.

This project has a 50% matching Business Ready Community Grant up to $250,000.  This grant also applies to the costs for the Site Development portion of the overall project.

The project was funded through the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-70-47210.

I move for the approval of the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Downtown Facility Enhancement - Prefabricated Restroom Structure Project, Installed by Hladky Construction, Inc., in the Amount of $194,274.00 (1% and Wyoming Business Council Grant Project).
