| A Public Hearing to Take Public Comment on an Ordinance to Amend Chapter 9 of the Gillette City Code to Prohibit Mixing Yard Waste and Refuse and Rubbish and Providing New Regulations for Recycling. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| An ordinance has been prepared to revise City regulations to prohibit mixing refuse, rubbish and yard waste in the same container and to change the recycling regulations because of the discontinuation of the old blue bag program and the establishment of the Campbell County Amalgamated Recycling Enterprise (CARE) for depot recycling. A public hearing has been advertised for this meeting to discuss these ordinances and take public input. |

| At the end of public comments, the Mayor can ask for a motion to approve the first ordinance that follows this hearing on the Agenda. |
