| Council Consideration of a Quote Award for the Base Project and Additive Alternate for the Donkey Creek Bridge Overlay Project to S & S Builders, LLC, in the Amount of $47,110.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This project is a maintenance project to seal the bridge deck of the Butler Spaeth Bridge over Donkey Creek due to hairline cracks that have been developing. The project will also include removal and replacement of the joint seal between the bridge and the approach slab to insure that water is not damaging the approach slabs to the bridge (an Additive Bid). Quotes were received on February 8, 2017 from two (2) contractors (Four (4) contractors were sent requests). S & S Builders, LLC was the low bidder for this project at $37,815.00 for the base bid and $9,295.00 for the additive bid for a total of $47,110.00. The second bid was from Powder River Construction, Inc. at $66,400.00 and $25,350.00 respectively for a total of $91,750.00. S & S Builders, LLC has also been awarded a like project in Campbell County, by WYDOT, last month. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The cost of this project is $47,110.00 which includes the base bid and the additive bid. This project is being funded from Account 201-10-05-419-70-47403 Bridge Account in which $51,000.00 has been allocated for the project (1% Funding). |
