David and Tina Geer, owners of the Family Fun Center, are requesting Council's approval to extend their current dispensing room from a 10' X 15' Room in the NE corner of the building, to be a 446 square foot room in the NE portion of the building. The dispensing room is not moving, but expanding from its current dimensions. The Geer's are experiencing a growth in their business and believe that this expansion will benefit the customer, as well as their business.

I met with the Geer's at their establishment to go over the proposed changes and, as far as I can tell, the plans will meet the state statute definition of a "room". I have also sent their proposed drawing to the Wyoming Liquor Division for any comments/corrections they may have. During discussions with the Geer's, I expressed concerns of underage staff being in the proposed dispensing area since it will include the kitchen area. They assured me that currently, their staff is 21 years of age or older and only plan to hire anyone who is 21 or older in the future. To my knowledge, Family Fun Center has passed all compliance checks.
